Last night we assembled jelly beans in the little plastic Easter eggs and hid them around the living room. This morning Tucker woke up and we introduced him to how to find Easter Eggs and put them in his Easter Basket. He caught on pretty quick. Each time he discovered a hidden-out-in-the-open jelly bean he exclaimed "ohh" He did awesome with guided prompts, and that was quickly followed by trying the jelly beans. The expression on his face when he tried the BLACK one was PRICELESS. He acted like it tasted so good, but we knew he couldn't wait to replace that taste with a yellow one. Speaking of black jelly beans, Bill put together 4 eggs filled with just black jelly beans, and his friend Tim hates black jelly beans. So this morning I drove over to his house really quick and stuck the four eggs filled with black jelly beans plus a not that read: "You're never too old to get a visit from the Easter Bunny" Signed with bunny prints then "Hippity Fricken Hop" It was great....now we just wait to see his reaction....
Yesterday I had half and hour to make Tucker a little handsewn Bunny. I think it came out pretty cute. It was a simple pattern shape, and then I filled with lentils, then hand painted. This is how it turned out:
