Salad Dressing

Last weekend when I went grocery shopping, I decided to pick up Salad Dressing, but not the kind in traditional bottles.  In our attempt to eat healthier I figured that if we had more portable salad dressing containers, we'd be more likely to enjoy salad more.  Each morning I pack Bills lunch and two days ago when I made him a side salad I tossed in two bottles of the dressing.  The response, when he called me when he took lunch was hilarious.  He always has a comment about something!

"That's awesome, mouthspray and deodorant for men!"  "And at 2 calories a serving - that's equal to a tic-tac!"

I swear it's all in the way he says things because I seriously could not stop laughing.  Now every time I pack him a salad and throw in a bottle into his lunch bag, at least I know it will put a smile on our faces at lunch time!

Port Salerno Fish Festival

Over the weekend we took a family trip to Port Salerno.  It was the ports 7th annual Seafood Festival. All the local fishermen were there with amazingly awesome fresh seafood samplings.  Tucker was a little chow hound and tried everything we had.  Some of our favorites were the fish tacos, shark bites, calamari, and of course fried clams.  It was insanely crowded with hungry seafood lovers for sure.  Bill and I had a system though.  He would hang out with Tucker and the stroller off to the side, while I swam "upstream" (literally) to the tents to go fetch our seafood.  It was definitely worth the craziness.  The funny part is that we bought "moonshine elk jerky" from one of the vendors, and Tucker was all over that!

Bathroom Linoleum

This morning Tucker wanted to help me with a project.  Since these Linoleum squares were ancient, it was really easy to peel them up.  Actually more than half of them were so old that there was no effort involved.  Tucker insisted on helping out though, so I gave him the job of picking up the linoleum that I scrapped up so he could throw it in the tub.  What a great helper!!!

and now 2 days later, A NEW BATHROOM FLOOR.  Yea!

What's a Toddler to do on a Rainy Boring Afternoon?

Make a movie!  Of Course!

The story on this was that he was at Nonie's (grandma's) house and they were watching a kids show.  The host was asking whether to sing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" or "Row Row Row Your Boat".  Obviously Row Your Boat won, and Nonie and Tucker were singing.  Tucker loves spending time with Nonie.  I like it to because he is learning great habits....like his most recent one of using his hands to say "Please".

Personal Website

2013 has started with a new addition to my website.  As many of you know, my old website www.4pawsportraits.com has been retired.  My new website is www.annmariescreations.com  I figured that this domain name really shows the variety of creative things that I have been up to.  Including the most recent venture of sewing handmade bookcovers that fit some Christian Science Publications.  So to all the Christian Scientists out there that would like to protect your Bible Lesson, Journal, Sentinel or Quarterly, I have several unique bookcovers made for you to choose from.

Here's a sample of one of my favorite ones:

Cover to Tucker's new Scrapbook for 2013
I am so happy it is not the end of January yet.  I have so much to get done down the road of creativity.  Although "Blogging" has been out for a while now, I've been hesitant to participate, because, much like journal writing I never follow through or keep up with it.  So I warn you all now, that come 2 or 3 months down the line, I might not be as active with this "Blogging" thing.  I have decided to do it only because I want my closest family and friends to be able to follow what our family is up to through photos and this format gives be the ability to comment on the photos I post.  I had tried the Walgreens format and it turns out to not be so user friendly, so now I will attempt this format and see if this is any more user friendly.

Some of you had trouble viewing the latest pictures I had uploaded to the Walgreens website.  Below are some of our most recent pictures of the little guy.

It's not always easy to get great pictures of Tucker because he's soooooo active, But I thought these came out great and I absolutely LOVE his shirt!

So here's the start anyway to this "Blog"
